Starting Numbers
- Asking price: $7,500
- Transport estimate: $450
- Clean-up and basic parts: $650
- Likely resale after cleaning and documentation: $10,500 to $12,500
Inspection Questions
Does the engine turn? Are the VIN and title clean? How serious is the rust? Is the trim complete? Are there expensive missing parts?
Maximum Buy Price
If the realistic resale is $11,500 and expected expenses are $1,100, a buyer who wants at least $2,000 profit should target a purchase price around $8,400 or less. The safer offer would be lower to cover unknowns.
Verdict
This could be a good flip if bought correctly, but it becomes risky if the floors, rails, cowl, or title are worse than expected.
